help!! Need a twin comforter reasonably priced

Can anyone recomend a really fluffy twin size comforter in either down or a really nice down alternative (not the cheapy stuff that comes in kids character quilts)?  We live in Southern California so it doesn't have to be super warm, just snuggly.  I am hoping to keep it under a hundred bucks but haven't found much.  It's so hard to tell over the internet what will be good.  thank you for the help

Re: help!! Need a twin comforter reasonably priced

  • I had a similar question recently and a friend recommended an Ikea comforter... she has a king size one and said she absolutely loves it and it was super cheap.

I've also been really surprised with the comforters that JC Penny's has, after looking for bedding for four days straight, I thought they offered some of the best options.

I would trust Target for a comforter. I've also ordered from The Company Store many times and their stuff is not only good quality but it's priced well too. I've bought the twin for $99 in the past and live in New England so it keeps you warm. You could probably find a cheaper one on their website that is lighter too since you're in SoCal. Or, if you have a Home Goods/TJMaxx they always have stuff like this as well!

  • I scored one at target that is soft and medium-light which is perfect for here since we have a furry blanket we can add when it's cold. It's a down+ alternative mix. I think it will do well and it was inexpensive enough that I won't be too sad if I need to replace it after a year. (I think it was like thirty bucks).
