Anyone else on SCOTUS watch this week?
I've been watching the scotus decisions as they come down. Today could be a big day. Anyone else?
fyi - scotusblog is a wonderful resource for anyone wanting live updates.
Re: Anyone else on SCOTUS watch this week?
Yay - Doma is dead!
I'm disappointed on the Prop 8 case (citing standing) but I think that's what a lot of people were expecting.
I am so happy! SCOTUS doesn't always get it right, but based on the legality of the cases, I refused to entertain negative thoughts about the outcomes.
I'm happy with the Prop 8 ruling. The original order blocking it remains in place for the time being, so that's progress.
That's true. The writing was on the wall during oral argument that that's the way it was going to go...
