Kindercare or Tender care in North Hills

Does anyone send their kids there?  I didn't think so but checking - if so let me know I am scouting possible new daycare locations closer to Caileigh & Keira's school.

Re: Kindercare or Tender care in North Hills

  • I am starting Evan at a new center next week.  The change is killing me.  He has been at his current center since 8 weeks.  However, all of the pickups and drop offs were wearing on me.  We are starting Monday at Doodle Bugs in McCandless Crossing.  Tender Care does not have bus service and Kindercare would not give me a price without an in person visit.  That is how we settled on Doodle Bugs.

that place looks so nice!  I might look into them for summer camp options for Jake next year.  You'll have to let me know what you think once he gets settled in there.

where do they bus?  Just to NA schools?   I got online with Kindercare & got a range of prices for 2 yr olds.   They bus but the girls have after school at St Sebs so I don't need them to bus.  Someone quoted some prices from Doodle & I thought they were pretty high ?

  • Back when I started this process (before we moved in 2012), Kindercare would not give me a price without a visit.  I don't know if Doodle Bugs will bus to private schools or not.  They didn't even have the bus when they first opened.  The price is similar enough to what I am paying now that the convenience factor won out. They provide breakfast, lunch and snack with that price, which is what I am getting now and did not want to give up.
  • Emmy - It is very nice, especially since it is brand new.  The "camp" activities last through August and have a theme each week.  I really hope the transition is harder on me than it is on him.

  • we're at Tendercare and have been really happy with the school.
