I'm back :)
It has been so long since I have been on this board! This year has been super, super busy, so I haven't had much time. I hope everyone is doing well! It will be a year before we know it!
Edit: Did anyone else wait to take their honeymoon? We are going in August!

Welcome back!
DH and I are going to Italy in October! We leave the day after our 1st anniversary (Oct 13 - 31). We decided to wait for a year because the trip is pretty $ and we needed to save up for it. Also, I'm finishing up my Ph.D. and couldn't take off more time around the wedding. As it is, I'll probably be defending my thesis shortly after we return. I've promised myself that I'll have everything done for it before we leave and not think about it while we're gone.
We're flying into Rome and my family is picking us up from the airport. They live near Naples, and we're staying with them for a few days. Then, they'll bring us back to Rome where we'll meet up with our tour group (Perillo Tours). We spend 3 nights in Rome, 2 in Sorrento, 3 in Florence, 2 in Venice, and 2 in Milan. I've been to all of these cities before (except Milan), but it's DH's first trip to Italy. We're so excited!!!
Italy! How wonderful!! That's really nice you are taking the trip on your anniversary, and it's great you have family over there. We are both teachers, so the summer made the most sense for us. We're going to Ireland for about a week, and then we are spending three days in England with my college roommate who now lives over there.
Ireland and England sound cool too!
DH and I would like to travel EVERYWHERE...seriously, we want to be world travelers when we grow up LOL! We have a brief layover in Paris on our way to Rome. I'm so bummed that it's just enough time (just over an hour) to go through passport security and make it to another terminal of the airport. I hate that I'll be in Paris, but only see the airport! DH promises that we'll go back. We'd like to take 1 more big trip before we have kids.
