Im a terrible guest and bringing nothing tomorrow, unless my mom specifically asks for something. My parents are having a small bbq tomorrow and we are celebrating my sister in law's birthday. Im sick and hoping to just rest today since my boss was kind enough to give us an extra day off today.
I was invited to a bbq on Saturday and i'm bringing Easy Company Bars. I made this for them a couple of 4th's ago and my best friends Dad loved them. I thought it would be a nice surprise to bring them again.
They turned out pretty well! I'd never made them before and the dough felt oily before I baked them but they turned out just fine. I didn't have enough sprinkles so I did 1/2 batch with sprinkles and the other 1/2 with mini chocolate chips.
We just did burgers and sausage on the grill and I made roasted potatoes and a green salad. We had a picnic outside and the girls loved it. I'm thinking we need to eat outside more often
