Hotels at Idlewild

We are going to Idlewild and thinking of making two days our of it- since we slways skip the soak zone.  If anyone has done this, where have you stayed and do you have any recs? Looked online and no hotels appear to be super close. Thank you for your help!

You can check Latrobe. There is a Holiday Inn express or something there. I am in my iPod or I'd look it up. It would be about 10 minutes away on rt 30.  You can also try in Ligonier. 

ETA: it's a spring hill suites that's in Latrobe.

Thanks so much.  I did see that in Latrobe-  I the hubs wants to try Ligonear.  Everywhere has pretty good reviews. I guess I was just hoping for extra opinions rather than yelp or travel advisor as far as convenience to the park..

We have stayed at the Wingate in Latrobe by sharkey's!! It was great service clean room and decent price, plus it's not too far from idlewild!!
