Angelcare movement monitor

Does anyone have one of there? Do you know where I can buy one? DS has taken to sleeping on his stomach and it freaks me out. I want to buy one asap, but it's only available online. I guess I'll wait if I have to.

Re: Angelcare movement monitor

  • I have seen them @ babies r us, and once @ target.
  • we have one and we love it! We got it at BRU.

It's amazing --the sensor pad that goes beneath the mattress is very sensitive, so if the baby rolls to the foot of the bed and falls asleep agaisnt the rails, it may go off. The little "angel" base has a thermometer and a nightlight, so the handsets will tell you the temp in baby's room, plus you can set it to go boop-boop as it works (or you can leave it silent, but for the alarm of course!)

It provides a lot of peace of mind, especially since DH and I are bad, bad parents and put Blair to sleep with a blanket (she hates those sleep sacks, and she loves to suck on the blanket hem). The only trouble is the thing is crippling, too... we freak out when we don't hear the comforting boop-boop-boop...

  • I got mine at babies r us and is still using it with baby #2. It comforts me to hear her breathing.
  • We got ours at BRU and love it!! Travis was a preemie and had a hospital issued?monitor?and we had a lot fewer false alarms with the Angle Care. Now we use it to make sure his room stays at the right temp, and so we can hear him when he wakes up in the morning. It has different?sensitivity?levels?so you can hear them when they are just babbling to themselves. We love it!!
