Bathroom Faucets

We are renovating our bathroom (used by our two little boys and guests). The vanity is set up for a widespread and has three holes. I like the look of a gooseneck with crossbars. Anyone have suggestion that is quality but not pricey? I know we will have to pay for a decent faucet but I don't want to get crazy with it. Especially since we will need two :)
Is there such a thing as a faucet that would come out further to assist little arms in reaching the stream of water? Even with the stool our two year old doesn't quite make it. The vanity hardware is brushed nickel. Thank you for your help.

I disliked the faucets that the previous owners had installed so this past week I went on a mission to buy 2 faucets for our double sinks... I found the following website to have quality brands and the best prices I could find. Plus shipping and handling is free if you spend over $29 and there are limited restocking fee's! They do have faucets which the spout reaches out further than others as well. The dimensions are all on the products page on this website. They also have matching accessories in case you're looking to change out anything else! http://www.fixtureuniverse.com/
  • coupons!  find a faucet style you like, and find where the deals are =)  Amazon might be an idea too.. sometimes their items are slightly cheaper than other stores.

I'm a fan of Moen, but i'm not sure they have the cross-style you want.

As far as the water stream, i'd opt for a temporary solution like a faucet extender (since kids grow!):  http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0071D1AKI

  • Bathroom faucets come in single hole, center-set, and widespread assemblies. If you are keeping your existing sink, then you need to match up your faucet to fit the sink you already have.
