Re: FFQ Monday!
So...I read many different things online.
When do you all believe 3rd tri to start? I am 27 weeks Thursday. Is that the start of 3rd tri?

: ) I am pretty excited about this! : )
Lately I feel huge though. Feel like baby boy definitely went through a growth spurt in the last few days! I feel like people are going to stop asking me if I am sure it's not twins and replace that with, Are you sure it's not triplets. ; )

I feel like they are different things. But not sure. In my mind, the mucus plug comes out and you just notice like a big glob of mucus. The bloody show is closer to delivery time and more blood. I might be wrong but I think you can lose your mucus plug a bit before you actually go into labor. And the bloody show is pretty close to go time.
Interested to hear others answers on this! : )

No. I lost my mucus plug in chunks between 38 and 40 weeks but never had bloody show until after my water broke.
Fast until 38 weeks because that's when I stopped working and I got bored! I was also pregnant over the holidays so that made things go fast.
No. I didn't have my bloody show until I was 6 cm dilated and in active labor.
ETA: I lost my mp starting a few days before labor and lost the remainder of it during early labor. It can be bloody, though, so sometimes people get them confused I think.
Slow as f*ck! Then, all of a sudden I was done.

For me they went faster just because we had so much planned and so much to do that July snuck up on me before I knew it.

The first time I felt M move it felt like a bubble popping.
To go with this question... Could it also feel like slithering? A few weeks ago it felt like something slithered across my stomach. It hasn't happened since.
I doubt you would be feeling any movement yet at 12 weeks, I am second guessing that what I am feeling at 16 is actually movement. I guess another question would be when did you first feel movement?

I doubt it too, it was just creepy and I haven't figured out what it could have been!
I felt the first movement between 13 and 14 weeks. It felt like I got flicked from the inside. It wasn't gas, and I had never felt anything like that, so I assume it was baby. I felt it once or twice and then started feeling pokes more frequently at 17/18 weeks. If I hadn't been sitting down, I would have missed it.
The first bit of movement I'm pretty positive I felt was between 19 and 20 weeks. I had my a/s at 21 weeks and definitely felt movement after that. I have an anterior placenta, though, so it's definitely possible to feel movement before then.

Thank you for this, this is exactly what I have been feeling. It feels like someone is flicking or plucking me from inside. It is generally in the same location each time, but it is not happening very frequently and just started in the last couple of days.

This is exactly what it felt like for me, and it was around 14ish weeks. I wasnt sure it was movement until it became a lot more obvious around 16 weeks.
1. Ditto PP. I started losing my MP around 36 weeks. There was no blood until after my water broke and it was just when I wiped. By the time I PIAC at the docs things were pretty bloody. I was so embarrassed handing my pee cup over.
2. 20-30 took longer. 32w-38 weeks flew by, but it probably would have been different if I went until my DD or beyond.
3. I had A/P and didnt feel the baby move until 22 or 23 weeks. It felt like flutters, but I second guessed what I was feeling until about 28 or 29 weeks.

Same here. Mine was around 14 weeks and I was standing at the kitchen sink when it felt like someone was literally tapping me with their index finger below my belly button from the inside. I didn't feel it again until around 19 weeks but it was the same, just stronger.
I never said anything to anyone else because I thought everyone would call me crazy for feeling any quickening that early. But, like BB said, I'd never felt that before and when I felt it again I knew it was him for sure.
I read this and was like 'How is she 19 or 20 weeks along?' and then saw how far along you ACTUALLY are.
Holy crap, woman! I feel like you just found out!
