Now it's punta cana where we honeymooned. I'm doing a photobook now of the pictures - I WANNA GO BACK!
I love the beach. We used to go to Myrtle Beach every summer and met up with my dad's family in NC. We've been talking about going to the beach after Labor day at Ocean City, MD.
Like mana, now it's my honeymoon location, Mexico!
But of places that are slightly more feasible to return to, I'd say Maine and the Outer Banks.
Honestly, DH and I have fun whenever we go away. We even love just taking short weekend overnight trips. We went to Cooperstown overnight for DH's birthday in May and stayed in a bed and breakfast! We just had a blast in Cape Cod for 5 days last month, and Disney is a definite favorite for us too!
Next major trip we have planned is a 7 day Princess cruise! Fort Lauderdale, Princess Cay, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Grand Turk and back! Likely going 1/2015 because we want to go in the winter but I can't do it pregnant! Also, baby has to be 6 months to cruise. We will probably also go back to the cape in the late summer next year.
We absolutely love Cape Cod! It's where we got engaged and when my family went on vacation so many times. Lots of great memories there.
I also love Italy and we're going there for our honeymoon in Oct.
DH and I love to travel, so we'd be happy going just about anywhere!
Unfortunately, I haven't been on many vacations. My first real vacation was a cruise with H and that was nice. We feel in love with Grande Cayman and decided to go there for our honeymoon. We definitely want to go back, it's beautiful, food is good, and the people are really nice. And we loved that we could rent a car and drive all over the island.
We love the Caribbean. We always talk about going to all the different islands down there. I pretty much don't care which one either!!
Either Turks and Caicos or Antigua (honeymoon spot). H and I are huge fans of quiet beaches where you can lay around and relax all day long. I don't need the excursions and seeing an area. Give me the ocean, sand, a book and a drink any day!
I think we are going to go away for the last week of the summer. We've thrown around a few suggestions, but everything is so expensive. It seems like we are going to wait until a few days before and see the best deal we can get. I kept forgetting to renew my passport and change my name. I mailed that in last week so hopefully I get it in the 4-6 weeks they are saying so an international destination could be an option.
We really enjoyed the Fingerlakes in upstate New York.
I've also been on a family reunion in Colorado, and eventually, we'd love to do that together. It's beautiful!
