scentsy

Anyone out here have one? if so what do you think?

Re: scentsy

  • Nope...I like Yankee Candle better. I buy the Tarts, which are pieces of wax that sit over a tea light candle in a decorative pot.

While they aren't flameless, I think the prices are more reasonable. One tart is about $2 and lasts 8 hours.

I can buy a bag of 100 tea lights for about $10.

And the pots (I have one for Christmas and a general throughout the year one) can be purchased at a host of various stores for a few dollars up to $20-$30.

I also think that Scentsy smells very plasticky (if that's even a word).

  • I have scentsy.  I love their spa/clean fragrances.  I recommend them.
  • I've been looking into Scentsy products, but I always end up going with Yankee Candle. They have flameless wax melters now that you can just plug into the wall, or you can go with the traditional ones that use a tealight candle. I recently bought a cute ceramic one from them for about $8 on sale. Their wax is called Tarts, and sometimes you can get a pretty good deal on them. For example a few weeks ago they were on sale for about $1 a piece. If you sign up on their website to get email updated you'll get coupons and stuff too, which I always enjoy.
?Laugh whenever you can. Keeps you from killing yourself when things are bad. That and vodka.?
  • I work at Yankee Candle so, obviously, I use them. But a lot of people buy a cheaper tart wax warmer and then use the Yankee Candle tarts. Like the others said, they are super fragrant and there are so many to choose from. Not to mention when they have sales. =)
