I'm tired of counting calories. In 5 months I have lost 25 pounds with the calorie counting and exercise. I am doing well going to the gym almost daily but I don't want to have to count calories for the rest of my life to continue to lose weight and eventually maintain weight. Any suggestions for alternatives?

For people who have done food journaling, do you find it more successful to journal with a physical notebook, or on a computer/smartphone/website? I need to start doing this.
I'm a fitness and nutrition coach and always feel that after 3-5 months you should have a good idea of how much to eat. Your body begins to autoregulate and will automatically know when to stop eating.
You love how you feel. You love how your body is transforming. You wouldn't rob yourself of this by over eating.
By now you should also have a clear indication on how portions look. What a portion of protein looks like, how much of your plate should have veggies, ect.
Your new lifestyle should be enjoyable and you shouldn't feel trapped by it.
