We are looking into going to a Couple's resort next year. Any recommendations on which were your favorites? We are looking at going with another couple and are looking for a week of relaxation away from our children. I like the fact that it looks like they include snorkeling tours and other excursions as part of their packages.

Re: Couples resorts
All the Couples resorts are amazing, and the best thing is you can get the lowest level rooms and everyone is treated the same, unlike many other AIs. and they really enforce the no tipping policy.
We have been to Couples Negril 2x and are booked to go back to Couples San Souci for the second time next year. I am madly in love with both of them.
I could write a lot, let me know if you have specific questions. You will get great information by visiting the Couples message board, they have tons of threads on all the individual resorts.
Bottom line, you can't go wrong with any of them!
Steps on My Spiritual Journey
I stayed at Couples San Souci in May 2012 for two weeks. Prices were slightly cheaper than Sandals, which enabled us to stay longer.
Of the actual Couples resorts, we chose San Souci because the grounds sounded interesting. It's an older resort, with lots of mature greenery/plant life, and it's kind of tucked around the side of a cliff. There were a lot of stairs, which we liked given all of the AI food & drinks.
The actual rooms were rather dated, and in need of some serious renovations. For this reason alone, I would not go back to this particular resort. The food was decent for an AI, but I've have better, especially at the Secrets resorts.
It was nice having the water activities included, but for the most part, we stayed on the beach or pool. FYI, Couples has a nudist beach at each of their resorts. It was kind of weird, being at breakfast, and wondering which couples were nudists...haha.
