What are some things that you normally make sure you always have around the house? it can be food things, random things... just thinking about when we do get married and move in what people normally have around the house.
Re: Around the house
...What do you keep in your house now? Food? Toilet paper? Stuff like that??? Do you still live at home and feel like you don't know what 'grown ups' keep? What do your parents keep around? What is important for you to have?
Maybe I don't understand your question but I think there are some pretty basic requirements and the rest is personal taste.
Disaster kit! A good guide to building one:

**6.30.12** I have found the one whom my soul loves.
Vinegar, baking soda, and castile soap for cleaning.
Oats (for breakfast), dry pasta, rice, beans in the pantry to throw together a quick dinner.
Extra bottle of wine, coffee, tea, crackers for unexpected guests.
Ditto PPs--look at what you (or your family) are using now, and take notes. It will take a little adjustment, but you'll find yourself in a routine within a couple of months.

SO TRUE AND IMPORTANT. At least in my world LOL
Wine, Coffee, something chocolate.
And always something in the fridge that can reheat easily. H gets home from work late sometimes and it's nice for him to be able to just warm up a meal rather than making it.
