Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Day after Thanksgiving--Stuff A Cruiser
The Avon Police will be at Walmart the day after Thanksgiving starting at 6am, collecting toys/donations/clothes to donate to needy children. The toys will be delivered to the CT Children's Medical Center on December 10.
Even if you don't live nearby, the list of items is good for a reference on what to donate this year.
Everything is in need, (New and Unwrapped) and here are some examples:
Infants:

- bottles, bibs,
- crib sheets, mobiles
- diapers, new infant clothes
Toddlers/Pre-School:

- little people toys, weebles
- clothes, underwear, socks
School-Age:

- CDs, G, PG rated movies

Adolescents:
- jewelry & accessories

- new underwear, socks
- crafts, model cars kits, scrapbooking materials

- CD Players
- Teen Magazines
- Games (hand-held electronic, card, board)
- Sports team hats, memorabilia
- Boys Toiletries (AXE, kits, etc)
- Cosmetics, nail polish, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, make up mirrors, etc
- Yoga videos, mats, bricks
- Stationary (diaries, photo albums, phone cards, disposable cameras)
