my spotty dog has spots!!!
My dalmation has these strange lumps showing through her fur. at the moment its 30 degrees outside so thought it may be down to the heat. she has also been lying on the grass for long periods so also thought it may be insect bites. any ideas???

It sounds like hives, if so she is probably extraordinarily itchy and it's more likely do to pollens or other allergens in the environment rather than insects but either are possible.
I would recommend giving her a bath to get all possible allergens off her skin and then give her benadryl 2-3 times a day. The dose is 1mg/ pound. So two tablets for about 50lb dog. If that doesn't help or if her face becomes swollen/ she starts acting sick contact your vet.
