Intro :) little long!

Hello! I usually post over on TB, but will probably be over on this board now too. I thought I'd introduce myself and our kitties. DH and I have an 8 year old, spayed female snowshoe named Mia. We adopted Mia when she was 4 years old. Over the weekend I fell in love with a 4 month old, spayed red tabby female named Maeby. Maeby picked me! When we were visiting with her she jumped up into my lap, had a bath, then fell asleep.
After a long discussion, we adopted her and brought her home Saturday. I did a lot of research on how to introduce cats, and am hopeful that they will learn to like each other. I'm taking it slow, and will be hoping for the best.

Welcome! I have a tortoiseshell calico named Evie. She will be nine years old in December.
DH wants to get a dog (a great dane or weimereiner) in a few years.
