I've been checking news sites regularly, and hadn't seen this yet.

I'm way too excited about this baby. There's just something about Will and Kate that fascinates me. I'm not sure what it is, but I love them. 

I was totally into the royal wedding as well.

I was a big Princess Diana fan - which has carried over to Prince William and Kate and their wedding and baby. 

We were just saying at work that they should name the baby Spencer, after Diana. Which I dont' think would get the blessings of the palace.

According to a Brit my mum work with the Queen will have final day in the name choice. I doubt anything Diana related was ever really an option.

I was excited to hear this yesterday!!  I can't wait to hear the name.  I agree, there is something fascinating about Kate & William.  And Harry.

I was hoping she'd have the baby while we were in Canada last weekend. I was interested to see how those actually "ruled" by the monarchy would react. I have a friend up in Toronto now, and she said it was crazy up there yesterday.

I was excited about this too and look forward to hearing the name.  I can't see William and Kate letting anyone tell them they cannot honor Diana with a name.

The other princes (Charles, William and Harry) all have 3 middle names, so hopefully Spencer will be a middle name.  I'm sure his first name will have to be something dignified for a king.  (George, Edward, Richard).   I watched a special on Dateline last night and it was a lot about Diana.  It still makes me so sad all of these years later.  But, I think that her influence on William will carry over in to how his child/children are raised, so Diana's spirit will definitely be around Kensington Palace!

This exactly! I think it's because they're around our age and they seem so normal... or as normal as you could be in this situation.  

I'm so excited about the baby and now I can't wait to hear the name and see pictures.

Poor Kate.  I can't even imagine have to get all pretty and "present" my baby to the world 24 hours after giving birth.  Well, maybe if I had a team of make up artists.

She looked great for just giving birth!  And did you notice she was in polka dots and Diana also wore a polka dotted dress when she left the hospital after having William.  William was so cute with that baby!

Ditto. They both looked so cute. Woah they don't mess around.... send them packing 24 hours later. Home they go!
