Is anyone alive out there?!

I know we've done this before but I feel it's appropriate for today.

I'm back in my office today and they were able to fix my computer!  Yippee!  It's running a lot faster now so that's always helpful.  My doctor's appointment this morning was semi-productive.  The doc thinks its a stress fracture but the xrays were inconclusive (which he said was normal with stress fractures.  Something about they don't show anything until after its started healing.)  So I have an MRI scheduled for next week.  So the never-ending saga continues.

What are everyone's thoughts on the royal baby?  Anyone excited?  Or do you not care?

Re: Is anyone alive out there?!

  • I'm excited by him! I was just watching the live feed when they came out of the hospital with him. I guess I'm marred by my own experience and am surprised she is leaving the hospital just a day after having him. And I was also glad to see she didn't bounce back to her old size. When her uterus shrinks down in a couple days and I see her in a pre pregnancy outfit, I may just throw up.

I think it's weird that stress fractures are like that. You would think if there was any kind of fracture, it would show on an x-ray. Hopefully next week brings you some answers!

  • I am also oddly intrigued by the royal baby. I thought Kate looked freaking amazing for having a baby 24 hours prior. My goal is to look that good this time. Last time I was pumped full of fluids and was so puffed up! This time I hope to be our 3 hours after birth....call me crazy! thats the bonus of a midwife over an ob...this is all assuming this one is a vaginal birth too.

Hopefully they figure things out for you E. That is crazy! I dont know much about stress fractures but it sounds unpleasant.

    I miss this place
