I've been doing really good! I'm actually really proud of myself. I feel like I've finally hit that mental point where you realize what needs to be done and that you just have to do it.
I posted yesterday about the ViSalus shakes that I've been doing and I'm having a really good experience with them. They keep me full so I don't feel like I'm starving even though I am eating less and healthier than I used to. We FINALLY went to the gym last night and it felt really good! I was actually looking forward to going all day. I want to be in the best shape of my life and I've made the commitment to do what it takes to get there.
I've also set up non-food rewards for 5lbs, 10lbs and 15lbs lost. Hopefully I'll be at the 5lb one by next week. It's a mani, which I desperately need!! 10lbs is a mani and pedi and 15lbs is a 60 minute massage
I'm about a week out from my period and I can't put the salt shaker down. I'm retaining so much water I can't even get my wedding ring off. I do this every month, so I'm just avoiding the scale for a few more days...
I've just gotten back to working out with regularity. I was doing really good, but I think I have a pinched nerve in my low back. It hurts really badly! I haven't been able to bend over for the past two days. I need to make a chiropractor appointment or something, I can't go on like this.
I was really bad last week, but doing better this week. like Heidi, I'm a week out from TOM, so I feel bloated and craving salt. Oh hi pita chips!
I went to the gym Monday and plan to go tonight. It's just SO hot in the gym, I'm a sweaty mess afterwards. I think it's so hot outside everyone is going to the gym, and the ACs can't keep up. It's cooler today, so crossing my fingers.
I added ST last week, and upped my arc trainer mins (kind of like an elliptical). So I'm defintely seeing my muscles coming back and stamina... COME ON SCALE!
Still not weighing. I feel like I'm trying to more active since I've been working in my classroom to get it ready, but Monday and Tuesday were trainings where I sat in a chair ALL. FREAKING. DAY. That makes me just as sore in my joints as moving around a good bit, so walking was out of the question. *sigh*
I have to wait 4-6 weeks to use my FitBit again unless I stumble across my charger. It went psycho two weeks ago and said I walked 23 miles before 10 AM. When I told them, and told them I couldn't find my charger, they offered to replace it free. Sadly it's on backorder, so I have to keep waiting to use it :-/ I loved it the week and a half I had it!
