My Bf and I just moved in together and I think the biggest problem we have is trying to settle on something to eat.. I am a very picky eater chicken, steak and pasta is really all I enjoy, he loves Chinese (i can bare with it but I don't love it lol ) he loves fish (I'm allergic) I just don't know how to spice up our dinners, I love to cook, I will try to cook him anything he wants, I just don't know what to cook. I will learn to eventually venture out as long as its not fish! any good recipes? the other night we made pastina and i made a pesto sauce.. didnt look good but it was great!. I am all about experimenting to make him happy! thanks! xo
Re: A lovely divide..!
Have you been on Pinterest? That's a good place to start to try to get ideas- lots of different food options all in one place.
One thing I thought of you could try is this Asian Noodle Salad - thinking this would combine your love of pasta with his love of Chinese (well, Asian anyway). It is pretty flexible on what veggies you put in it, so you can tailor it to both of your tastes. I got that recipe from Pioneer Woman, the link to her original is at the top of my blog post- check her recipe out to see what all she put in hers.
If you are wanting to branch out, try one new ingredient at a time, with something you already like.
