As a 28 year old woman, I'd like to think I know my body and my period cycle quite well but I'm just a little curious. Since I have had my period it's always been super heavy the first 2 days and has lasted for about 7 days total. The first day is always relatively bad cramps but I can usually work through them. When i was on BC pills, same thing would happen but would be reduced to 5 days with less cramping. I've been off BC for 2 years with no deviations in cycle. This past period has only been 4 days and super super light and the first day was so painful that I had to go home from work. What gives? Just normal random variations? It was just this one time...so far...
