Mortgage Commitment due tomorrow, still no appraisal :(
We submitted our payment (check was cashed) 3.5 weeks ago and the lender still hasn't recieved the appraisal.
Turns out the appraiser is having a REALLY hard time finding comps for the home.
This has been such a long, drawn out process and I'm ready for it to be over.
We are schedule to close on 8/30 (pushed back from July 25 due to the sellers), but the sellers have a lot of repairs to complete and they refuse to start them until they have our commitment.
Just a small vent...

I finally told my lender yesterday that if I was as bad at my job as he was with his, I would be fired. I am paying these people for a service --- I am a customer --- and they aren't treating me as such.
We were told at 4p yesterday that the appraisal "just came in!" and we should have the commitment by close of business today (the deadline). The house appraised at $100.00 over the selling price -- I'm not convinced that the appraiser had such a hard time coming up with that, but whatever, I'm moving on...
