He finally did it!

Gosh, getting my husband to do any work around the house is like pulling teeth. Especially since he wants me to nag him (his words) and I do not want to nag. LOL. Anyway. He finally decided he was ready to paint the mancave/office....after 3 hard days of work we are done. Yay!

Re: He finally did it!

  • Painting IS a pain in the azz.:)  It's disruptive, it's hard work and it involves muscle work...but once you're done, it's a real sense of accomplishment, you added color to your lives and you saved yourselves a good chunk of change.

This past fall, I painted walls, redid the woodwork and sanded and refinished the floor in my front room. All told, it took about a month. I did it in my spare time and was done just in time for Christmas season.

That drum sander was somethin' else -- it weighed a ton (I rented it) and I used muscles I didn't even knew I had.
