Anything exciting happen for the week? What about the weekend?

Re: Fantastic Friday
I went to the Pirates double header on Tuesday, and they won both of the games against the no longer first place (thanks to the Pirates) Cardinals!
Tonight DH and I are babysitting his 1.5 year old adorable niece. She seriously is the cutest kid ever. Tomorrow night DH, me, my sister, and her fiance are going to the Pirates game. We have nothing planned for Sunday.
Willy, good luck tomorrow with the home visit! I hope you guys can become puppy parents soon!
Julie, how are you feeling? You are so close to having that baby! Have y'all picked a name yet?
We are going to Dallas tomorrow to help H's best friend and his wife move into their new house. I really like that couple and it should be a good time. Unfortunately, both of us have come down with some kind of cold and I am hoping we will feel better tomorrow. If not, it's really going to put a damper on things.
This week, as most of you probably read, I had the appt with a plastic surgeon and he's given me high hopes that I'll be able to get my breast reduction approved. Also, business related, we were able to reach a little over $100,000 in sales! Our average monthly sales is between $50k and $70k, so this is awesome for us! And what's even better is that we are already at over $70k for August and it's only the second day
Nothing exciting this week except my student's last day is today
. I was her mentor last summer too, and we've became friends along the way. I'm going to miss her, but not the moments she makes me feel old, being 10 years younger!
Nothing planned this weekend besides a lunch date with my friend Sunday.
I feel like our prayers were answered. H has been really unhappy at his current job for awhile and had an interview for a government job (we are both civil eng.) a few weeks ago, but he didn't think it went well. On our way to my friend's wedding this weekend, we had a long discussion about how I would be ok with him quitting to focus on finding something he loved, with the stipulation that he would have to take another consulting job after 4 months. He heard back yesterday and got an offer for the job he really wants!!!! There was a physical test, so pending those results, he will resign next week!!! He is super nervous even though he is healthy because it just seems too good to be true, but I'm soooooooo excited and proud of him!! I can't wait to get the green light from the new hr director and shout it from the rooftop!!!
In other exciting news this week, we got to experience the tropical storm Flossy first hand since it postponed our flight out of Hawaii after the wedding. It made for a horribly long work day after a red eye since my project was due that day. TGIF!!
Exciting news: my sister had her baby on wednesday, her son and my daughter are 23 days apart=) He is happy & healthy and i love snuggling him!
Plans for this weekend: nothing really, probably will go to my sister's house when she gets home from the hospital to try and help her out (she had a c-section)
H has to work OT tomorrow so its just me and Lilliana=)
Nothing exciting happened this week. We had beautiful weather here though.
Yesterday during the day, I went with MIL and SIL to have lunch with H's grandparents. It was a nice day with family. Last night, H and I went to the Mets game. They won! First time we've seen a winning game together. H says he's bad luck. They even hit 2 home runs
After the game was a concert by O.A.R. They played great. I haven't seen them live in about 5 years. I also haven't listened to anything new in about that long. I only knew about 3 songs. It was still a fun night.
Today we're watching a Bates Motel marathon that we DVR'd yesterday. We missed the season and heard great things. Tomorrow we're going to a reunion picnic for my trapeze class that I used to take. I am excited to spend an afternoon with great friends!
Thanks for asking! I am feeling ok, for the most part. I have been having some trouble sleeping at night (I can sleep once the baby gets, here, right? lol). Also been having a bit more back pain, especially when standing or walking around for a bit. No name yet, but we're getting close.
I was at a Pirates game a few years ago and there was an after game concert by O.A.R. It was great! I also only knew a few of their songs, but really enjoyed the concert.
