We had the kitchen gutted yesterday and today they started to put some of the cabinets in. One of our cabinets by the fridge was measured wrong and is too big. So we have to wait for a new one to be sent to us.. which HOPEFULLY shouldn't be that long. Our new appliances came today as well- new stove/microwave/dishwasher. Our house is still a mess.. all of our cabinet contents ( food, silverware etc) are sitting on the porch and my dining room is filled with cabinets in boxes! We still have to finish the flooring on the porch, frame the windows and paint. The diningroom rug still needs to be pulled up and the hardwood underneath finished. The granite "people" are coming this week for the templet. Hopefully that should be ready to go the end of this coming week or so.
We still have a ways to go, but its starting to take shape!!

what color granite will you use for the countertops?
Your kitchen is really starting to shape up. I love the cabinets. Where did you order them through? We will be doing a remodel at some point.
Cabinets were ordered through Armstrong, out of Tyngsboro, MA. Our neighbor is a contractor for them and got us a good deal = ) Our granite will be black with some " sparkles", as DH likes to call them = )
Its been a HUGE pain to not have a kitchen, especially with a 22 month old. But honestly, its really only been since friday, so it hasn't been THAT long. But, we'll be without countertops probably for a week.
