Vendor information in siggies.....

Awhile back there was a HUGE stink about having vendor information in your signatures and people were getting banned for it. I don't know if it still being enforced (D&R, WC and a couple of other boards had some Nesties banned), but I don't want my locals to get in trouble because they aren't aware of the rules and regulations.

I think you can still put something small in your bio (like a link or something), but it's not allowed in your siggy. You could check with the Nest rules (they have a vendor clause I believe) and email Knot Annie (I can give you her email if you need it) if you need more info.

I had my Leo stuff in mine for awhile and I was getting some less than pleasant posts on other boards because I missed most of the drama - I wanted to save my local ladies some of that annoyance and the chance of getting banned (especially since I just got some of my posts back )

You weren't alone, I was an offender too~  I don't know about the drama, but I know that we shouldn't post solicitations. I had a link in my signature too...thinking they don't have to click on the link if they don't want to but Elisabeth is right...we gotta play by the rules!! So now I just have our blog~
