...to this and evidentally, from the other communities I posted in you are supposed to ease your way into this whole making posts thing. I came to the Tennessee Nesties hoping someone would be willing to help me out with this. :0)

Oh yeah, I totally got flamed. I had no idea what I was getting into. Guess it is mainly my fault for just posting something on the ML with out really knowing what I was doing! LOL!
I am in Hermitage, just outside of Nashville. I just got married on October 18th.

It scared the crap out of me. My first post was just asking for first year marriage advice. and they started talking about anal and bjs and all sorts of rude stuff!! I was in shock. They are rude women. Obviously they are not happy with the life they have or have no control in their marriages and they get off on making fun of people. Whew...I got a bit angry and called them bitter B's. Probably should not have done that, but oh well!
I have checked out money matters! Even commented on some of the posts. I will have to look into it more for sure! Thank you! :0)
I got it for posting something that I admit was probably to lovey dovey. I was just asking for advice for the first year of being married. It was awful! Or so I thought.
I would love to help get this board up and going! I know I am going to adventually need some advice and it will be nice to have you all around! :0)
You can never ever ask a serious question on ML. That board is only there for people to be sarcastic b!tches and to most over there, that is considered a compliment.
MM is a bit safer and WC is known for being a super gentle board, although it has been known to cause weight gain.
I also love Pets, but the women are very passionate about animals over there. They are really wonderful women, but you don't want to say anything really dumb about animals (unless you are really looking for help) because they are easily offended. I guess by "they" I should include myself.

You don't have to ease your way into posting....just think twice before posting anything. Don't ever give them any fuel for their fire either. A lot of people have nothing better to do with their lives & for some reason really enjoy flaming people for everything! It is a bit ridiculous. You just have to blow everything off. It is just the internet....so try not to let things get to you. Don't post when you're mad or emotional. Oh....and try not to post in your sleep while on Ambien like I am guilty of!?

I'm in Franklin. Have a small farm here with several horses & a various menagerie of animals. I went to Hermitage once about 10 years ago. I couldn't even tell you where it is! ?
Welcome! I'll admit, I haven't been on here prob. since I was a knottie. I'm going to try and do my part to participate. Sorry you got flamed. It's unfortunate that some spoil it for all. I've generally found the TN gals to be friendly, and with time you will become more and more comfortable with whatever board you settle into.

Welcome! I live in Franklin. DH & I had an apartment in Hermitage for the first year that we lived in the Nashville area.
ML can be a bit intense. I spend most of my time on money matters (when I actually get a chance to nest at all). Everyone over there is pretty nice.
