Re: what did you all do this weekend?
Hi Feef!
Yesterday was a pretty lazy day for us. Collin and I just chilled around the house for the morning while DH was off helping his dad then we cleaned all afternoon. Today we got up early, went grocery shopping, then visited with my father and step mother.
It was a pretty uneventful weekend.... I like those ones :-)
BTW - Eggnog cookies? Sounds delicious!
It was an uneventful weekend for us (which usually does not happen, so it was nice). Saturday DH worked OT, so Haley and I didn't do too much. We mostly worked on holiday arts and crafts (she loves to get messy). Yesterday, we all ended up going to the mall and did a little Xmas shopping.
I did however read Twilight by Stephanie Meyer front to back on Sat-Sun. I highly recommend this book...I couldn't put it down.

Saturday we started our house hunt in earnest.. we checked out 8 or 9 homes in Derry and L-derry. We didn't find anything we would even put on a "maybe" list, but it did help us to identify what we consider deal-breakers! (ie... beautiful house, nice kitchen, basement for DH's mancave... but being able to give people a report of the traffic on 93 by looking out the front door, definitely a deal breaker!)
We spent Sunday with my parents... my sister came up from CT and brought my 15 month old godson to visit. I am so in love with him! He is such a little guy (he was born at 31 weeks and he's still got some catching up to do size-wise) but he has started taking his first steps on his own and he is such a little ham- he sees a camera and instantly poses. We took him to the MSPCA near my parents house where they have horses and sheep and he just loved it... kept saying "ba-ba" at the sheep and "woof woof" for the dogs... I had a great time, it just stinks that we only get to see him once a month or so!
Hmmm, well, Friday night I went shopping for me and did a little Christmas shopping while I was out. On Saturday, I had the entire day to myself pretty much so I cleaned with zero interruptions!! On Sunday, my sister came over to visit, and Eugene cooked a delicious roasted pork dinner.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
