i just made my first baby purchase
so...it wasn't totally crazy of me to have just bought two car seats, right? especially since they're normally almost $300 and i got them for under $50 each, including tax and free shipping? i mean, we are actively trying to have a baby, and i did look at a lot of reviews for it. and we do have two vehicles, so it would be good to have one for each--and, well, you never know.
from target. there's this one in granite for $42.99 (85% off), and this one in cowmooflage for $59.99 (79% off). i got the granite.

Wow that is awesome. We will be getting the britax car seats as well. All my research tells me they are the best and I don't want to skimp on safety. They also have really good height and weight ranges so although they are expensive they do last a really long time.
This is the site that I like with info. They sell carseats through the foundation and only sell britax infant care seats so that is a pretty good endorsement I think.

We have 2 Marathons in the van and I LOVE them. L and our nanny have Cosco Sceneras in their cars (they don't travel with the boys often) and while I like how light they are (great for traveling) I HATE having to install them. When I saw this offer on Target, we bought 2 for L's car (making these seats 7 and 8.) I am hoping the order goes through and doesn't get canceled.
So, for those of you TTC, I HIGHLY recommend Britax seats!
yay! i'm glad to see such a good review from someone i know. i've pretty much only read good things about them (other than being heavier than other seats), but still.
i'm not surprised they're sold out now, ssg. i'm going to be paranoid about it being some kind of mistake until i get them.
