I'm putting up my Christmas tree this weekend.  I know I should respect the turkey, but there is just too much drama and stress in my life right now and I NEED some holiday cheer.  I will refrain from outside decorations until after Thanksgiving.  I'm also going to update my Christmas Ipod play list this week.  I can't help it.

Yay!!!  Good for you!  Who says you can't do Thanksgiving and Christmas at the same time? December seems to go by so quickly that I never feel like I had enough of Christmastime.  We'll get a live tree the Sunday after Thanksgiving, since Iron Bowl is that Saturday after.

have fun with that and hope it eases your stress.  IF we decorate for Christmas it won't be til after the 6th as my tree is at the condo (yes I do a fake one) and Lord knows where all the ornaments are but to help my attitude (I'm feeling really down on myself lately) I might have to put it up despite what I had orginally thought........... that is IF I can find the ornaments and all.  That's like a needle in a haystack, trust me!!!

LOL. I know what you mean. Mine will go up before Thanksgiving because I'll be out of town for the few days surrounding tgiving. I want to come home to my house looking like a winter wonderland, LOL.

i think mine is going up (but i won't decorate it yet) this weekend....there are already trees in a few windows of several of my neighbor's homes...
