Turkey Day Plans?

So....what is everyone doing for Turkey Day this year? I am going to be working a lot since most of my business is on the holidays. Thanksgiving is not really a big deal to me anyway....I can go & see my family any day. Besides...I can't stand traditional Thanksgiving food. I know.....I'm strange!?

DH & I might go catch a movie & hit the Waffle House after my jobs on Thanksgiving! ?

    I'm taking off for a couple of days and my family is coming in from WV.  Well, my parents are at least and one of my three siblings is coming in just for TG day.  I'm also finally getting to meet my newly adopted cat Jorra!   He's at Mom and Dad's right now getting ready for the big trip down here.  I can't wait!

    DH, mom, dad, me- everyone else bailed.  We cook an absurd amount of food every Thanksgiving, 4 people or 20! Blending families over the years, we have come to incorporate a variety of "must haves".  In a way, we have the idea of traditional dishes, but the recipes we use are anything but!

    Mmmmm.....I'm getting hungry! 

     

    On a side note, what is everyone's favorite dish?

    I have the whole week of from school/work so I'm studying for finals and filling out applications for CPE. Thanksgiving Day, I'm running a 5K down in Franklin and then we're having about 8 people for dinner at my parents' house. It should be a lot of fun, especially since I'm doing most of the cooking!

    Mmm, I love Thanksgiving!

    We're heading to Arizona to spend the holiday with my in-laws. I'm actually looking forward to some warm weather!

    We are going to NC. ?My uncle lives out there, and is having a party for my aunt's birthday the Saturday after TG so we are going to both!

    Sixth Anniversary
    We're headed to Kentucky. We will have dinner Thursday with my dad's side of the family (probably 20-30 ppl). Then we are going to the ILs for Friday.
