Speaking of the Iron Bowl
I would really appreciate any suggestions you might have.
My husband and I are coming "down" from Michigan for the Iron Bowl and I was wanted to know of any good places to eat before or after the game (sports or Bama themed would be great).
We are also Southern tailgate virgins. "up here" at MSU they allow you to walk pretty much all over campus with adult beverages what's the tailgate scene like down there.
I'm sure parking is going to be a nightmare...any suggestions on that?
Last but not least ROLL TIDE
TIA
Re: Speaking of the Iron Bowl
If I were going to be having lunch, I would want to eat at Rama Jama's, the hamburger joint next to the stadium.
I am not sure if it is going to make it through the next stadium expansion, so I would try to get one last swiss/mushroom burger. Yum
My husband used to work at MSU , and now works for Auburn. (he's in media relations and had womens basketball when they went to the final four, but did football as well) So he'd know more about the tailgating "there" vs. "here". I just know "here"!!!! You can walk around everywhere and with drinks. Once we park (even at Bama) we walk everywhere. Parking isn't as bad at Bama as it is at AU b/c Bama is more spread out.
Go to their website and look at their game day info. That should help ya.
Sorry, I root for your Spartans but WAR EAGLE!!!! So you got 1/2 my love, ha ha. You'll have fun at this game regardless. I always go. I don't know about MSU vs. Michigan but the Iron bowl is one of the largest rivalries in the country.
Travel safe and hope yall have fun!!!
