Where can I order a Fried Turkey?

We want fried turkey this year for Thanksgiving but I really dont want to attempt to make one.

Does anyone know somewhere where you can preorder fried turkeys?

Re: Where can I order a Fried Turkey?

  • Interesting. That would be cool, but I've never seen a pre-made one. Seems like they'd need to be relatively fresh.

    Hopefully somone else knows. :-)

  • Fried Turkey needs to be eaten like 5 minutes after it's done, so I don't really know if you can preorder it.  I've never heard of that being done.
  • No, cajun fried turkey can be reheated in your oven and comes out GREAT! There used to be someone at the market at DT Winter Park that did them and would deliver them- but, it's been years and don't know if he's still around. Publix actually used to do them- but, the few I've asked look at me like I'm nuts. :(

I'm sure there's still someone out there! I'd love to know, too!

  • i have not found anywhere to order one so I am buying the stuff to make them. This shall be interesting ;)

I am nervous b/c of my daughter but we will figure out somewhere to do it to where I know she wont get into it.

  • its cheaper to make a turkey out of tofu instead of just frying it. if you budget correctly you can eat the tofu for a month!
