Knot local (Seattle) ---> Knot Relationships which became Wedding Woes(with snarky bitches extraordinaire), then the Nest came about and kicked all relationship-type boards over to the Nest (because why would you talk about your relationship BEFORE you're married? That's just silly; keep obsessing about ribbon wands and TOJ packets!)
I was one of those snarky bitches on Re, then WW. 
Those were some fun times, although woe to anyone who ventured over expecting real help. When were you on?

Hah! I figured there would be some survivors here.
Let's see, it would have been after I married, so 04-05? For some reason I can only remember one name from that board, CinnamonSpark. I remember the board rebelling against being forced to go to the Nest, so they stayed and took over the WW board. I would imagine a great many of them eventually made their way to the Nest and ML, where snarky bitches go to retire.
Did you have a different handle then? Do you remember the JakesGirl debacle? Or PrincessKarmie? That may have been a TIP drama. Good times.

Do you remember the Knottie who wore black shoes with her wedding dress and used to post questions such as, does underwear ever expire? Her screenname started with a lowercase "c." I'm sure it will come to me around 3am, haha.
Have you always used this screen name? I don't know how it is that I don't remember you. Sibil also said that she was on at the same time and I don't remember her, either. I was on ALL the time because I hated my job, so I would think that you guys would remember me. I was very, very snarky, but only to people who deserved it.
I have toned it down quite a bit. Age will do that, I suppose.

I started as MissBrittany and then changed to MrsBrittany after the wedding.
I do remember why I left WW though, there was a situation where everyone turned hard on someone who'd always been welcomed before. I want to say RoseMarie, or close to that? She had triplets. One day everything was fine, and then a few days later everyone hated her and tore her up. I was just so shocked to see people turn on one of their own so easily. I saw more of that hapen and it was disturbing to me. Maybe it sounds naive to be shocked by that, but I'd never had a lot of female friends before, and talking to large groups of them in a forum like the Knot was pretty new to me. Man, I have learned a LOT about women from these boards!!
The PK drama was like shooting fish in a barrel! She lived with her Fi in his parents' basement and was the dictionary definition of a beebee.

I also vaguely remember RoseMarie because I seem to recall a Knottie with triplets. Can you recall why people turned on her? It's all quite fuzzy for me.
I will say this: most of the regulars on there were relatively intelligent, decent people. If they turned on someone, it usually wasn't without reason. I seem to recall that the board was sympathetic to RoseMarie at one point, so it must have been a doozie that caused the shift in opinion. However, I can't legitimately defend the actions without remembering what happened.
God, I wonder if this is what acid flashbacks are like! I'm enjoying reliving some of this.

I have no idea what happened with RoseMarie. I think I was gone for a few days and came back to it. I do remember she got a new handle and tried to fly under the radar for a while as a newbie, but she got sniffed out. She went to other boards and still got harassed! Maybe Wonderw1fe will remember!
I do agree that most of the board was filled with kind and smart ladies.
