I have an MRI study done tomorrow. I've been at the Neurologist & a few other doctors all this week. It's total craziness! I am very clausterphobic & I am not looking forward to it. Then after that....not sure when....but I get to have a spinal tap! Ugh!?
Re: MRI Tomorrow....
Sorry to hear that. I've been through both and can sympathize. Do you have the option to go to an open MRI?
The Dr. was a quack, but the nurse I had when I got my spinal was the life saver. She kept me focused and was very comforting.
All I can say is I tried to mentally focus on other things, kind of pretend your in a different place. Sorry is that sounds hokey, but it's been my coping mechanism for unpleasant medical testing.
Hope all goes well

The place I am going does not have the Open MRI. That is the only kind I have had before. I think I shall take a Valium before I go so I don't freak out & screw the whole thing up.
Shammy....if you don't mind me asking....why did you have to have a spinal tap? I had a spinal tap as a child & don't remember that one. I had one a few years ago, but yeh....that doctor was a quack....so now I get to go through all that fun stuff again. I will have had 7 doctor appointments by Friday.
And thanks everyone.?
