As of tonight

I can no longer sit down. Like, in the way a normal person just sits. I can't breathe if I try. I am officially gigantic. My stretchmarks have stretchmarks now.

Just, wow.

Re: As of tonight

  • Good LORD! ::::runs off to think about ever trying for #2::::
  • it's pretty ridiculous. I'm having Matt take one last picture tomorrow. I've been bigger all along with Molly...bigger earlier, etc. But my weight (I started out at the same pre-pg weight as Alex) gained at just about the same rate all along until these past two weeks. I'm sitting about 4 lbs heavier than I was with Alex at his birth. So, gain of about 34-35ish, I think, in total. But damn. Good thing Matt isn't afraid of stretchmarks. He's been rubbing Body Shop shea butter on my stomach through both pregnancies and even last night, very sweetly told me that he would butter it after I had Molly if I wanted him to. I give him lots of points for making that comment. Not that it made me feel better, but I appreciated the sentiment.

    Tomorrow, I am:

    • getting my eyebrows done
    • having a countertop guy in to measure our kitchen so we can start getting estimates on pricing (we're replacing countertop)
    • putting together a bassinet for the den
    • setting up the P&P again in our room
    • opening up my hospital bag to go back through everything and make sure I have what I need (I packed forever ago with all that PT labor)
    • putting infant seat base back in the Highlander
    • packing bags for Alex for his weekend shuttling around to different care providers since my mom isn't able to come up anymore
    • cleaning out fridge of all grossness/questionables
    • charging video camera and still camera
    • tracking down where the F my breastpads went (I had these awesome washable cloth ones with Alex that were great and they are somewhere in my bedroom closet now) and washing them
    • getting laundry backup done, folded, and having Matt put everything away
I think that's everything...that better make tomorrow go by fast, that's for sure.
  • Wow - that will certainly keep you busy! Maybe with all that running around your water will break - never know, right? That's pretty much what happened to me - the day before I was running errands like crazy...I bet you just can't wait to meet her and be done with being so uncomfortable - you're almost there!!

Matt is SUCH a sweet guy, really - what a good man :)

  • You are one busy lady! ?Only 1 more day!

  • Sarah, I am apparently going to be stuck there until Tuesday.  You should stop by and say hi if you have time!
  • Wow Heather!!!  I hope you're able to get everything done today.. take it easy though = )
  • I hope you are getting even 1/2 of that done today my dear! Don't forget relaxing for a few minutes because as miserable as you are Molly is just waiting to make you start running around at triple speed once you get home!lol!
