grrr food vent
Now that I finally have a working kitchen, I'm making soup. ?I'd forgotten how long it takes to cook beans at altitude. ?Grrr. ?3 hours, and my beans are still not fully cooked. ?Methinks it's time to invest in a pressure cooker. ?I didn't have one last time I lived here, but I also didn't make as many bean based dishes back then. ?It's going to take me awhile to adjust to it taking twice as long to cook pasta, too. ?
