i'm sad.

my ex just called me to tell me she's at the emergency animal hospital with one of our kitties (she took them both when we split up because we didn't want to separate them). they're going to have to put her to sleep. my ex got home this evening and found her convulsing. the doctor was able to stop it temporarily but there isn't anything they can do for her. she's 13, so she's had a good long life and was well loved.

thanks. my ex and i are on very good terms, but i do really appreciate her calling to let me know what was going on. i'm think i'm going to see if i can find some pictures of the kitty and put something together to give her.

oh i'm so sorry to hear.  loosing a pet is so hard and you have every right to be sad.  i'm sure your kitty had a wonderful life filled with lots of love. 

a little memorial is a wonderful idea.
