Where to take Photos at?

I recently got a Digital SLR camera and I am trying to learn to use it.  I want to go take some picture w/a nice outdoor background.  Preferably using my 2 yr old as the subject.

So far we have gone to Moss Park, Blanchard Park, and Leu Gardens but I was just curious where some others go?

I also am trying to figure out somewhere to take some pictures of my sisters family for their Christmas cards (and hopefully have her take a few decent ones of our family!!).

So - where do you go?

Re: Where to take Photos at?

  • The campus of Rollins College is rather picturesque. We recently did a corporate photo shoot over there and around Park Ave. and there were a lot of nice spots.
  • Celebration is nice and also The Boardwalk area at Disney.  We had our engagement pictures taken there and got some nice beachy shots.

Oh, I can't believe I didn't think of the Boardwalk. That's where DH and I got engaged! Big Smile

  • my favorite site is lake lily.  the wooden bridge, the lake, the ducks, playground, old house, railroad tracks...lots of options

portofino bay hotel is fun but more stuff than nature

loch haven park is nice too with big tress and some sculptures.

  • That digital SLR camera that you have sucks.  Mine is far superior.  Let me take your pictures for you!
  • How about in the woods. ?Maybe you'll meet a real life vampire.
