Can you suggest a Real Estate Lawyer?

Our REA told us that an offer we have made should be accepted today... is it customary in NH to hire a lawyer for this process?  We currently live in MA and are first time homebuyers.

If you used a lawyer, can you recommend someone?  We're buying in Southern NH.

Thanks!!

Re: Can you suggest a Real Estate Lawyer?

  • More specifically, we're in the Nashua/Merrimack/Manchester area.
  • Our agent was a lawyer as well as an agent and his name is Mike Clarizio (mike clarizio properties). ?Not sure of his number anymore, but you can find him online. ?I honestly don't think we *needed* a lawyer for the process, but it helped that he was one at one time.
  • I don't believe one is needed in NH (I know we didn't have one).  One is required (I believe) in MA though.
