This board seems to have died down a bit lately. What has everyone been up to? Is anyone interested in planning another GTG in the near future?
Re: It's been slow...
glad to see you! yeah, the board's pretty quiet.
i'm taking my first interior design class next semester! yippe! super excited!
how's yh doing? sending extra happy thoughts his way! is your family affected by the fires in the L.A. area?
gtg sounds good. have a great night!
I'm excited for you to start that interior design course! Let me know how it goes. I just finished an insurance course so I can take the test for my license and I'm working on college courses for my bachelor's. I would love to take a fun class, but it will have to wait.
My husband is doing well. They're really shutting down the bases over there so it's been interesting to hear about the changes. It's crazy to me that two years ago I was building up the installations and now he's tearing them down. I haven't heard any more news about when he's expected to come home, but I think he should still be here sometime in December.
Luckily my parents weren't close enough to the fires to cause them to worry, but some of their friends were evacuated. To my knowledge, their property is still intact.
We need to come up with some ideas for a GTG. I've been so bad at making plans lately and I know the upcoming holiday season will be hectic, but hopefully we can squeeze in some time. Let me know if you have any ideas.
Congratulations on the new home! It must be so exciting to see the renovation process, even though I can imagine it must be hectic. I hate moving too and unfortunately the military lifestyle doesn't allow me to settle for too long.
Well, ladies, let's come up with some GTG ideas. What would be a good time period to try to schedule this?
