sure did. there were at least 6 auditoriums that were sold out. there may have been more though as i didn't venture to the other side of the theater.
i enjoyed it. there were a few things i'm unhappy with that 30 more minutes could've helped. i won't go into too much detail but i will say i didn't have that high of expectations because i knew the budget wasn't that big. My thing is that the bella/edward relationship was too rushed. The Cullen family was AMAZING though. Especially Jasper, Alice, and Rosalie...i just wish they had more screen time. they just need to make the midnight sun movie or a cullen family movie..lol.
the volvo was all wrong (hatchback) and didn't fit as a cullen car. i don't really want to say too much more b/c i might say too much...lol.
when are you planning on going to see it? we'll definitely have to discuss this once you see it

It took all I had not to go last night. It was one of my best friends birthday yesterday, so we all had plans last night, but her and only a few other friends and DH could seperate me from that movie, so that's why I didn't get to see it last night
I've got tix to go see it tomorrow at 1:00. A friend of mine went to Patton Creek last night and saw it and she said it was PACKED FULL!!
I can't wait..It's taking some major self control not to peek at the post on the other board, but I'm trying to stay busy so I don't look, LOL.
We will definitely have to discuss this once I've seen it.

I guess I'm going to have to buy the book and read it. But I might not be done til it goes to rental, LMAO.
yeah, I know, everyone loves it and B thinks I would like it too but I have so many books that are at the house waiting to be read.
I know, I really should read it as I usually love series books too. Now if it's anything like Harry Potter, consider me out. Not a fan at all, but this sounds more like it's for an older age. I love all the previews to the movie.
i'm sure patton creek was a madhouse. I was bracing myself for screaming girls and was pleasantly surprised when everyone in the theater got dead silent for a LOST sneak peek. lol..i had a sigh of relief there knowing it'd be like that for the actual movie
katie - i don't know why people keep comparing it to HP. Twilight is more of a romantic story with the other stuff kind of thrown in.
The book is WAY better than the movie (usually the case) but now i think there's even more reason for you to read the book first...that way you can fully appreciate the relationship between Bella & Edward as the movie condenses it quite a bit and everything regarding them seems really rushed in the movie.
