i've tried damn near every stinking type of carrier out there, so if you're looking for one, it might be helpful. ?or maybe not. ?heh. ?

Great read! I'm a little like you...a touch granola...but not at all crunchy. LOL.
I think you were right on about the Rockin' Baby Sling. I was so excited to get it and couldn't wait to "drop" Allison into it, but Allison gives me that same look, like she's really wondering what I'm thinking. I think we've used it 3 or 4 times, and then I gave up on it. She screamed bloody murder the last time and that was it - to the back of the closet it went! I think I'm going to put it on craigslist this weekend. We just never got the hang of it.
Now the beco butterfly? That looks like something I could get into.....
