South Carolina Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Ok, so that one didn't work out. If any of you ladies-specifically G'ville area-know of any customer service/admin or educational employment openings in the area, please shoot me a note and let me know.
thanks a bunch.
Re: Back on the job hunt
You might check out substitute teaching...just to get your foot in the door. Also, keep in mind non-profits. I used to work for Girl Scouts and they loved hiring people who could deal with both adults and kids. Maybe look at United Way's website for links to various agencies. I know when I was job hunting, a lot of them just list openings on their site (which is a pain). The new Children's Museum told me they were hiring in January when I emailed them this summer. Maybe check out their website too.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya. I know it took me a long time to find a job when I moved here and I'm so glad that I found one before the economy went crazy. Looking at the career section in Sunday's paper is depressing!!
Ervin, thank you for the heads up. I've looked into the Girl Scouts before-I should definitely revisit that one. The Children's Museum is also a great thought-thank you!!!
