Another one bites the dust...

Well my turn came today...I was laid off. It seems there are so many of us these days, and there are just no jobs out there. Luckily I have been working on a plan B, but that won't come to fruition until June!

So, if anyone know of any customer serivce, medical collections, health insurance contracting type positions out there, at hosptials, doctors offices, medcial billing agencies I would love to know aobut them!

I am currently working the "everything happens for a reason" theory, but then again I am working on beer #2 of my pity party. I already put out two resumes, DH is getting chinese for dinner...and as Scarlett says, "Tomorrow is another day"

I'm so sorry to hear that. Keep your spirits up.  I'll let you know if I hear of anything that might fit your request- I work for a large health insurance company but it's not based in Indy.

I'm so sorry to hear that - all these layoffs are so scary.  My company recently went on a hiring freeze - not good.

Sorry to hear that!! Have you ever thought about contacting a temp agency? That might be a solution for the short term until Plan B comes to fruition in June.

Hopefully that will work...I sent out about 10 resumes Friday and Saturday, 5 of them staffing agencies, I have found that temp agencies don't pay what I need at the moment...but giving the climate...who knows what kind of cut I am willing to take!!  Thanks for the ideas!
