Saw Twilight tonight...wide awake...
I went and saw Twilight tonight with some friends---it was SO good! Except for maybe all the 13 and 14 year olds in the theater who kept taking pictures of themselves...really...what's that about???
I am now all hopped up on soda and popcorn...which was also my dinner...and I can't sleep...I SOOO need to sleep b/c I have to get up in the morning and go find a dress and a gift for a wedding I am going to tomorrow afternoon..

I could not sleep for hours after I got home!! I went back and re-read parts of the first book....because it has been so long since I had read it.
Maybe I am the only one....but I thought the movie was just "OK". There were so many things....important things in the book that were left out. I know that they had to cram everything in....but still..lol!! Maybe it is just that the books were so great...that the movie can't stand up to it in my mind?? I did kinda swoon inside(and maybe quietly squealed on the outside) when they showed Edward for the first time
what time did you see it? we went again last night at 7 and had all the picture taking, squealing, chanting, middle school crowd (the girl behind me was intent on chanting edward or twilight and hoping the whole auditorium would follow). THANK GOD when the movie was actually on they were relatively quiet

I liked it more than ok. But I'm w/ ya on the important things they left out.

Would Twilight be okay for my 9 year old daughter to see? I don't remember anything really bad in the book (no love scenes...no major cursing, etc.), but it is PG13 so I'm not sure. She really wants to go though b/c she's been watching me read the book.

I saw it at 7 too...I bet we were in the same one...
probably so then!
