Thanksgiving Plans
I love the holidays! What I don't love is figuring out how to split our time between both families. Both families are in the area, so we are expected to be at both places. Luckily our families are flexible on the days/times we can celebrate.
This year we are going to DH's grandma's for Thanksgiving lunch and then to my parents for dinner.
What are your plans?

I have to work at 3pm on Thanksgiving so I won't be doing much of anything. Our families both live in Columbia so it would be pointless to drive 2 hours to not be able to stay for long. Plus, I have to work until 1030 on Wed evening and then I have to be at work at 8AM on Friday. Oh the joys of working at a hospital.
I will, however, be off Christmas eve all the way thru the weekend after Christmas. That will be nice.
Depending on my condition on Thursday we will be going to my IL's, My family is all back in WI so this year traveling up there for the holidays is out of the question. Also, dh has to work the day after Thanksgiving during some of the black friday craziness trying to help with crowd control outside Target at 5 am. Better him then me.
We're going over to my ILs (they're just in KCMO) for dinner. My family is in Michigan, and I'm not allowed to travel outside the metro area at this point in the pg, so it was an easy decision this year.
I am really looking forward to a short work week and getting to sleep in!!
