Maternity Pics? Milwaukee area

I was NOT planning to get these done, but DH just mentioned going to Penney's or something to have pics taken of us while I'm PG. Huh??? I thought we could just take a few cute pics at home w/ my tripod and camera on a timer. If we are having them done, I'd be happier with some cool ones from a photographer instead of the standard "here we are smiling" studio poses. I'm just not sure it's worth the $$ for me. Anyone have a photographer to recommend? Not sure if we will go through with this but I need to look into is ASAP. Thanks.

ditto PP.  She is great.  There was an emergency so we had to cancel mine that she was going to do then i delivered early so I didn't get them done.  I wish I would have.  She has some amazing shots of expecting moms. She captures that happiness and bond between mom and unborn baby. It Is so touching.

Thanks. She looks GREAT. Maybe I would have her come after the baby is born to get the photos w/ baby. The ones in her portfolio are beautiful. Anyone know of a photographer closer to Milwaukee as another option?

Casey Bower recommends this photog.  She did her maternity pics.  I can also see if the lady that does DS's pics is expanding.  For the last year she has been mainly doing just friends, but she is so talented that she needs to expand so other people can enjoy her work.

You can look into mrestudios.com she did my wedding pics and is a good friend of the family. She has some pregnancy pics on her website. I think she does an awesome job.
