traveling

I was wondering if anyone had any travel expierences going from upstate south carolina to around pittsburgh pa?  best time to leave and come back?

Re: traveling

  • OOOH I can help!!!

You have to be willing to fly last-minute, but generally on Wed. you can book a round trip flight for that weekend from GSP to Morgantown, WV (which is about an hour and 20 minutes from Pittsburgh) for $180 or less round-trip.  Just go to travelocity on Wed and search with flexible dates from GSP to Morgantown.

  • No problem!  I know you're trying to get to the Pittsburgh area... may I ask where?  Did you grow up there?

I grew up in the northern panhandle of WV and spent a lot of time in Pittsburgh.  I also went to college in Morgantown, wv.

  • I never flew from the upstate - only from Charleston and Hilton Head.  I've drive from SC to Pgh many times though!!! Good luck finding a flight!
  • I am actually from a little town about an hour north of pittsburgh called butler. I grew up there and moved to greenville, south carolina about 2 years ago.  How long have you been here?
